<div style="margin: 0; outline: none; padding: 0;"><span style="color: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-weight: bold; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit;"> <br>10. September 2020<br><br><span style="color: inherit; font-size: 24px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit;"> <strong style="margin: 0; outline: none; padding: 0; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> <span style="color: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> Pro Asyl zur deutschen Reaktion auf Moria:</span></strong> <span style="color: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> »<strong style="margin: 0; outline: none; padding: 0; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Bei einer Naturkatastrophe wären die Rettungsflieger jetzt schon in der Luft</strong>«</span><br></span><br></span> <span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> PRO ASYL appelliert eindringlich an die CDU / CSU ihre festgefahrenen Positionen zu verändern. »Auf die Katastrophe von Moria mit lautstarkem Schweigen oder dem Ablenkungsmanöver "europäische Lösung" zu reagieren, ist inakzeptabel«, kritisiert Günter Burkhardt, Geschäftsführer von PRO ASYL.<br></span><br><span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> PRO ASYL begrüßt die Eröffnung der Diskussion für die Aufnahme Schutzsuchender durch Landespolitiker*innen, Entwicklungshilfeminister Müller und führende SPD-Politiker*innen. Allerdings reichen die bisherigen Nennungen einiger weniger Hundert bis zu 2.000 durch Entwicklungsminister Müller, die aufgenommen werden sollen, nicht aus.</span><br><span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> Kein deutscher Politiker und keine deutsche Politikerin hat bisher formuliert, was mit den Restlichen geschehen soll. Die Schutzsuchenden auf den griechischen Inseln stecken in der Falle. Weder auf Lesbos noch auf dem griechischen Festland gibt es für sie eine Perspektive. Abschiebungen in die Türkei von Tausenden sind menschenrechtswidrig und zudem unrealistisch. Auf dem Festland leben bereits jetzt tausende Schutzsuchende in Obdachlosigkeit.<br><br>Die Zerstrittenheit der EU-Staaten bei Schutz und Aufnahme ist seit Jahren bekannt. »Wer hier von einer europäischen Lösung fabuliert, spielt auf Zeit, und sucht ein Alibi für das Nichthandeln«, kritisiert Burkhardt.</span> <span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> PRO ASYL fordert einen konzertierten europäischen Rettungsplan, die sofortige Evakuierung der Flüchtlinge und die Aufnahme in Deutschland und anderen europäischen Staaten.</span><br>

<div style="margin: 0; outline: none; padding: 0; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> <br>Rund 12.500 Schutzsuchende – darunter über 4.000 Kinder – sind obdachlos und ohne jegliche Versorgung komplett auf sich allein gestellt. Schutzsuchende berichten unserem Team von <span style="color: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-style: italic; mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"> Refugee Support Aegean (RSA)*</span> vor Ort, dass sie ohne Wasser und Nahrung seien. Noch nicht einmal die Anwält*innen von PRO ASYL/RSA können zu ihnen. Seit Jahren vertreten PRO ASYL/RSA-Anwält*innen Schutzsuchende vor Gericht.</span></div>

<div style="margin: 0; outline: none; padding: 0; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> Unsere Anwältin Natassa Stracchini: »Die Flüchtlinge wissen nicht wohin. Moria ist abgebrannt. Sie haben ihre letzten Habseligkeiten verloren. Polizeieinheiten hindern sie, sich der Stadt Mytilini zu nähern. Versuche, ihnen unmittelbare Hilfe zukommen zu lassen, scheitern aktuell an der brachialen Abriegelung durch die Polizeikräfte.«</span></div>

<div style="margin: 0; outline: none; padding: 0; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: inherit; font-size: 12px; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; text-decoration: inherit; font-family: arial;"> Zwischen Polizei-Barrikaden sitzen Flüchtlinge auf Straßen und Feldern. PRO ASYL erwartet die gleichen Maßnahmen, wie wenn sich über 10.000 europäische Touristinnen und Touristen in akuter Gefahr befänden: Temporäre Unterbringungen müssen geschaffen, die Essens- und Wasserversorgung sofort sichergestellt und medizinisches Personal muss eingeflogen werden. Nicht irgendwann, sondern sofort!</span></div>
